intro

Nitrous, Alife, Bomb: a web spanned by interactive graphics, semantics-based program transformation, artificial life, and philosophy.

note this document was written in 1995.

this web is an attempt to explain the graphics that i do, how they work, why i do it, what they mean, their relationship to my computer science research (ie my job), and how it all connects to a mess of philosphical meanderings and excerpts/reviews about artificial life and complexity. much of it is no more than my personal notes on popular science books i read. my contribution to the growth of exhibitionism.
